Patricia Kenyon was sitting in her cabin, writing in a journal. When the knock came on the cabin door, she put the pen down and opened the door, expecting the steward. It was Judd. “What can I do for you, Mr Judd?” Patricia had stood back to allow the door to swing open, but this action allowed Judd to step into her cabin. “Good morning again Mrs Kenyon. I saw the young ones in the saloon, so I thought I would come by and see you.” “Mr Judd, I am busy with my journal. I must ask you to leave.” Judd extended an arm, trying to stroke Patricia’s face. Patricia swerved to her right and turned her head to avoid his hand. “Surely you need a good man to fill you. I am very attracted to you, you know. You could make me a happy man.” Judd now put one arm behind her back while the other arm held her face as he tried to kiss her. She dodged and swerved to avoid him, but this freed his arm to come down onto her breast. His knees had forced her legs apart, and now he was alternating between lifting her skirts and feeling her breasts, his mouth on hers. She lost balance and fell back onto the sofa. His weight on her left her powerless. She knew she had to attack his groin, but there was no angle available. He pushed his face onto hers, but the smell of rum almost churned her stomach. Now with his weight pinning her down, he started to work at the top of her dress with one arm, while the other continued trying to pull her skirts up. She was not someone who would cry for help in most situations, and even now she was more focused on fighting this brute than calling out. A large hand grabbed Judd by the back of his neck. He was pulled upwards off Patricia before he knew what was happening to him. In the next moment, he was on the floor, with a boot planted on his back, his face to the floor.
